MiTV Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities:

• You will be part of the software development teams of the Mobile TV Competency Center
• Your work will be mainly focused on server side software development with Java Enterprise technologies
• You will be exposed to new technologies and agile development procedures, in a continuous learning and personal development plan
• You will have the opportunity to analyze, estimate and plan your work
• Taking initiatives, proving team spirit and assuming responsibilities will be highly appreciated

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science/Informatics
• 3+ years experience with Object Oriented Programming
• 2+ years experience with Java J2EE technology (EJB, JMX, JMS, JDBC, JNDI, JTA, Hibernate), Junit, XML, XSL, Web technologies (Struts, JSP, HTTP)
• Good knowledge of Linux environment, GWT, Webservices (SOAP, REST), Software Design (UML)
• Good knowledge of: Jboss, Apache, Tomcat, Ant, SVN
• Relational database administration (MySQL), scripting languages, IP, DVB2nd level Incident Management for circuit switched core network elements, on call 24/7
• Configuration Management
• Problem Management
• Proactive Maintenance (regular tasks)
