Web development company with offices in Belgrade is looking for Senior Linux Web Admin. 
 
We are currently seeking candidates for the following position:

Senior Linux Web Admin

 
 
Responsibilities:

• Setup and manage systems for public facing high-traffic application
• Able to work as individual contributor and provide technical leadership within admin team
• Keep the systems up and running 24/7
• Communicate with hosting providers in English
• Manage priorities and tasks

 
Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of web technologies
• Hands on knowledge of Linux
• Highly organized and detail oriented personality
• Management skills

 
Requirements:

• 5+ years of web site administration
• 5+ years experience with Linux system administration (Centos, Red Hat Enterprise or similar)
• 5+ years experience managing highly available (99.9%) public facing, web sites, including configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting
• 3+ years experience with Apache server configuration and management
• 3+ years MySQL Database configuration and management experience
• 2+ years experience with Java application servers (Tomcat, Jboss or similar)
• Familiarity with various monitoring tools and experience dealing with a web site that has high SLA objectives
• Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Rackspace) is a plus
• DNS configuration experience/management and firm understanding of how DNS functions is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
