Responsibilities

Engineer will be member of PSTech's development team and will be responsible for developing an electronic medical records application, using Java and Adobe Flex/Air technologies. Developer will participate in the entire life-cycle of product development.

Responsibilities include:

• Gathering requirements
• Assisting in the design of a technology solution
• Working with the project manager to estimate tasks
• Assisting in the implementation of the solution
• Create, execute and document tests to ensure that an application meets requirements and functional specifications
• Product maintenance
• Custom reporting
• Candidates must be able to assume complete responsibility for project tasks.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or related field (ETF, PMF, FON...)
• Object Oriented Analysis and Design techniques
• Knowledge of Design Patterns
• Minimum 1 year of experience in java web application programming: web frameworks, Application Servers/ Servlet Containers...
• DB design and SQL
• Unit Testing (JUnit or other frameworks)
• Experience with Adobe Flex/AIR is a BIG plus
• Experience with Hibernate is a plus
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST) is a plus

Software Tools and OSs

• Source control systems: Subversion (SVN), Clear Case, CVS ...
• Build tools: Maven, Ant
• Linux OS
• Eclipse IDE
